START-UP NY: Bringing New York to the World

During a zealous group meeting, AWWT learned more about the goals and services of New York State’s START-UP NY program. This program allows qualifying businesses to pay no business, corporate, sales, property, state or local taxes and no franchise fees or income tax for the company and its employees. Even Governor Andrew Cuomo deems the program unlike anything else, because no other programs like this exist. All of the START-UP NY savings last 10 years.
 
AWWT was interested to hear more and gained some helpful background information on New York State:
